Tetteris Mastiha is a fine Greek liqueur made from the crystalline resin droplets, Mastica Gum, of the mastic tree. This liqueur is sweet and light in flavour with a unique, slightly piney and resinous taste. Legend has it that when the dead body of Saint Isidoros was thrown amongst the Mastiha shrubs, the shrubs shed ‘tear drops’.
