We started The Liquory in 2021 with a simple idea — the world makes incredible drinks, and Australians deserve to taste them.
Based in Western Sydney, NSW, we're a small, passionate family-run business who believe that the best bottles in the world shouldn't be hard to find. Whether it's a raki from Turkey, a rakija from the Balkans, an arak from Lebanon, or a wine from a family vineyard in Greece — these are the drinks people actually love in their home countries, and we think you should be able to enjoy them here too.
Our Story
It started with a love of travel, food, and the drinks that go with both. We noticed that the most interesting, most flavourful, most culturally rich bottles in the world were almost impossible to find in Australia — buried in independent bottleshops, if you could find them at all, and rarely available online.
So we built The Liquory to fix that. We source directly, curate carefully, and ship nationwide — bringing you the bottles we'd recommend to a friend.

We specialise in international wine, beers and spirits from Europe, the Mediterranean, the Middle East and beyond. Our range spans Turkish raki, Balkan rakija, Greek ouzo and wine, Croatian liqueurs, Lebanese arak, Scandinavian spirits and much more. Every product in our range has been chosen because we genuinely believe it's worth drinking.
How We Operate
We're an online bottle shop, based in Sydney and delivering Australia wide. We keep things simple — a well-curated range, honest pricing, and fast dispatch from our own warehouse. No gimmicks, no filler products.
